Run Windows on your Mac
Parallels is the least painful route on Apple Silicon; UTM works and is free.
Install Boo inside it
It behaves exactly as it does on a real Windows machine.
Point downloads at a shared folder
Set the download folder to a shared location so files land on the macOS side.

Is there a Mac version of Boo Downloader?
Not yet. Today it is Windows 10 and 11 only. A native macOS build is on the roadmap, and the app is built on a framework that supports it, but we are not going to give you a date we cannot keep.
Will it run on Apple Silicon through Parallels?
Yes. Parallels runs Windows on ARM on M-series Macs, and Boo runs inside that. Expect it to work well — downloading is not demanding.
What should I use in the meantime?
On macOS, 4K Video Downloader has a native build, and yt-dlp works beautifully through Homebrew if you are comfortable with a terminal. We would rather point you somewhere useful than pretend a virtual machine suits everyone.
